The Influencers

VoyageATL owes a huge debt to the incredible local community of influencers – from fashion bloggers to foodies – who put in countless hours of work uncovering hidden gems throughout Atlanta. We’d like to introduce you to some of ATL’s most gifted tastemakers and influencers below.

even though you make parody accounts of my instagram (i.e.: @goodbyespoonful), always pick up the wrong foods at the grocery store anddd leave your shoes everywhere so I trip 24/7 — my life would be WAY less fun, exciting and full of laughter without you in it 💜 . let’s GIVE IT UP for all the #instagramhusband s out there who: 1. know not to touch their food before a picture has been taken 📷 2. take a million pictures of us in embarrassing public places until we get the PERFECT shot 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3. put up with EVERYTHING they do getting documented 24/7 🎉 . thanks for being the star of my IG stories and the last 4.5 years of my life 😌 . . . #positiveliving #choosejoy #flashesofdelight #pursuepretty #darlingweekend #livecolorfully #petitejoys #abmhappylife #abmlifeisbeautiful #iamwellandgood #mindbodygram #bgbcommunity #livethelittlethings #theartofslowliving #chasinglight #realsimple #littlestoriesofmylife #makemoments #abmlifeiscolorful #mytinyatlas #thatsdarling #weloveatl #discoveratlanta #igersatlanta #discoveratl #acolorstory #valentinesday #instagramhusband #exploregeorgia

Having a mental health disorder has nothing to do with your personal strength or your belief in God. Taking medication reflects nothing on your personal character. Going to therapy doesn’t mean you are unworthy of reaching your dreams.⠀ •⠀ I saw a post today that made me want to share this. Maybe you want to seek out treatment and you need this validation. Maybe you’re seeking treatment and the support you thought you’d have isn’t there. Maybe you’ve finally opened up to someone and it made them uncomfortable. ⠀ •⠀ I’ve been there, but I can promise that any healthy step to get better is worth it. The low can feel really low before you start to feel like yourself again, but you’re worth it. 💛

At the top of 2017 I came back to Atlanta knowing I had a talent in calligraphy handwriting and would somehow use this talent to create a business. _____ As the year continued I was drawn to holistic health, specifically nutritional psychology. I researched and prayed and just knew I had finally found what my next step would be. I got as far as applying and receiving an acceptance letter for a certification in Eating Psychology but a conversation with a credit advisor led me to holistic healing. _____ So of course I began to research again and pray harder than before. I was led to the works of quantum touch (aka energy healing) and right here y'all was my transformative experience. I had no idea this connected so greatly to the sciences I had taken in college and it brought me back to my understanding of why I wanted to 'help people'. _____ My help, was in healing. Oh I forget to mention that I had began my own healing (spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally) back in 2016. This healing I had embarked on was the most necessary decision in my life and thank God I didn't just 'get by' without it. _____ Disclaimer: I'm a Gemini and clearly I 'changed my mind' a whole lot in this last year, but I don't like to think of it like that. I gave this background to outline the significance of the journey and allowing God to lead you exactly where he needs you to be. I can't even imagine knowing I would be doing energy healing at the top of the year. Who was Kierra at the top of 2017? Definitely not the Kierra at the end of 2017. _____ Trust the process y'all! ✨
