When we work late, there is one thing almost everyone on the editorial team agrees on: it’s time to order pizza. Thankfully Atlanta has some of the best pizza in the country – and we’ve shared some of our favorites below.
The fried calzone will make you feel like you’re back in Brooklyn. We also love their Veggie Pizza which comes with spinach, peppers, oven roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, squash, and zucchini. Charred crust, good sauce and fresh veggies make for the best veggie pizza we’ve had in a long time. Try to grab patio seating if weather permits.
Crazy good pizza. One of the few places that even die-hard Antico fans will admit is good.
03. Double Zero Napoletana
Come for the authentic, Neapolitan pizza. They use the highest grade Neapolitan flour. The beignets are to die for.
04. Antico Pizza
The undisputed heavyweight champ of Atlanta pizza. Period.
05. Jack’s Pizza & Wings
Go for the food, not for the service.
06. Baraonda Italian Restaurant
Thin, wood-fired pizza made in a beautiful brick oven – what’s not to like.
07. Varuni Napoli
The chef Luca Varuni studied under the renowned Enzo Coccia, one of the world’s foremost maestro pizzaiolo at La Notizia, the only Michelin-rated pizzeria in the world. As expected – his pizza is UN-BE-LIVABLE.
08. Fellini’s Pizza
We love their white pizza with garlic, ricotta & mozzarella cheeses
09. Liberty Pizza
Handcrafted dough made on site and their authentic NY brick oven is *Italian Chef kissing his fingers emoji*
