Check Out Ashley Craig-Diaz’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Craig-Diaz.

Hi Ashley, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
For as long as I can remember, I was always in love with houses and the idea of “home.” I had a subscription to Real Simple magazine at the ripe age of 16 and was always game for tours of historic homes and gardens (my favorite was the Tate House). I studied music in college and had a private piano studio of 30 students which I maintained for over 20 years. Halfway through my 30’s, I realized I was ready to pursue my curiosities in real estate. We had purchased our first house in 2014 and during the 16 months of home searching, I had fallen in love with the process. I am thankful for all of my years of teaching experience as I have been able to take skills acquired during that time and help educate and inform buyers and sellers in a clear and concise method to help them realize and achieve their real estate dreams.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The growth of my new business has really given me the opportunity to practice patience. Being new to any business can be testing; being new to a business where all of your friends and acquaintances already know an average of 10 people in your line of work makes it even more challenging! Sticking with it, constantly being in flow with my sphere, and continually educating myself to be the trusted source for real estate expertise has been how I have overcome these challenges.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am beyond thrilled to be a part of Harry Norman Realtors, Atlanta’s oldest real estate brokerage firm. While I was initially drawn to Harry Norman Realtors based on their approach to luxury real estate, I knew I was in the right place when I discovered that our core values aligned. These values include authenticity, integrity, being community-focused, exemplifying professional excellence, and building rich relationships.

My desire is to educate and equip my clients with the knowledge and confidence to achieve their real estate goals and give them the needed tools and expertise for a seamless experience from start to finish. I pride myself on providing an exceptional luxury experience for every client.

I love meeting new vendors and business owners who provide goods and services that I can confidently refer to my clients. Being in the real estate business, people are always asking for recommendations. Having a collection of trusted professionals provides peace of mind to my clients and myself.
