Check Out Danielle Van de Velde’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Van de Velde.

Hi Danielle, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a meditation and mindfulness teacher and key note speaker. I am also a published writer and I hold regular retreats in Asia and Australia.

Since Covid, I have branched into the world of online courses and guided meditation and music production, which I am loving!
I also started a podcast called The Modern Crone. Season 2: The Rise of the Energy Arts is currently being released.  Season 1 The 21st Century Shaman was well received.

I hold several degrees and enjoyed a fabulous career in my 20’s and 30’s that ranged between Australia, Europe, and the US in the financial services and property sectors. This experience has given me a good understanding of the corporate world, the issues that arise from stress and burnout, team and leadership dynamics, and creativity and problem-solving.

I have always been compelled to teach and work with human behavior. My corporate career involved roles in cultural change, communications and marketing, capital raising, learning and development, and HR. And always, in my private life, I maintained a deep exploration of esoteric practices, spiritual frameworks, and meditation techniques. It was a natural progression to share my learnings and healing processes and support others in their spiritual journeys.

The Australian wilderness, Yogic Tradition, Shamanic practices, and an insatiable appetite for spiritual texts, esoteric teachings, neuroscience, and Jungian psychology are what opened me to the dazzling nature of the mind/body/energy connection.

These are the methods I teach simply because I know them and over years of teaching and guiding clients, I observe that they are effective frameworks for personal and collective transformation. I believe this is one of the most fabulous aspects of our modern time; we can access many alternative perspectives and frameworks for connecting with Spirit.

It is my passion to help others understand and master the art of meditation, transformative inner practice, healing, and intuitive living.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Perhaps the most recent challenge has been moving my courses, talks and guided meditations, and music online during the pandemic and learning how to garner community connection online. It was a steep learning curve and opened me to collaborating more and asking for help.

I discovered just how much you can learn from YouTube! From home recording set-up ( on a budget) to free audio software to podcast smarts, I learned not to freak out if I didn’t know how to do something…because what I’m actually good at, is finding out how!
I have learned a lot about holding space for online communities and I thoroughly enjoy the engagement, sharing and breakthroughs within the global online communities of my courses.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My offerings are in the areas of Meditation, Inner Transformation, and Conscious Living.

I help others understand and master the art of meditation, transformative inner practice, and healing through private coaching, energy sessions, courses, content, and tailored programs for individuals, schools and organizations. My suite of offerings is available online and in-person. I am a qualified meditation teacher through the Awareness Institute, Australia, a member of the Meditation Association of Australia and the International Meditation Teachers’ Association, recognizing the standard of my teaching and program development. My teaching is experiential. I draw from techniques and wisdom of numerous world traditions, current research, and my own experience. I am a Reiki Master in the Usui Reiki tradition and a sought-after healer and spiritual mentor with an international client base. My focus is on enabling others to understand and work with the design and function of their mind/body/energy system, to engage in transformative inner practice for purpose-driven direction, maximum performance, self-healing, and intuitive living.

Any big plans?
My first book. ‘Spirited’ will be released this year. I am also developing content for several new courses in energy practices and esoteric arts. And a fantastic new track is being cooked up currently. I hope to release City of Jewels next month.
