Check Out Hannahcamille Thomas’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannahcamille Thomas.

Hannahcamille, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I took mud and made a garden. My definition of ‘hop off the porch.’ Lol. My parents loved to garden, interest grew for exterior design at a young age. After years of keeping up with the vegetable garden…

I remember a vital moment my mom let me create the pathway to the hydrangeas. That grew my interest for landscaping.

In grade school. Art was the one of the electives chosen each year! During class, I would draw different story worlds with interior design. Kitchen spaces, living room with bookshelf’s that lead to secret paths to a garden! I love the theory of designing so I eventually wanted to know about who else knew about my passion. That’s when I began my education in art. College was the perfect opportunity to dig into my curiosities. I adored the relationship between Salvador Dali and Coco Chanel. Looking back, I design with inspirations of my past with a twist of my own. After college, I immediately knew I wanted my own line of art and to help others create their decor for their special moments in life. Opened up a business and began my adventure in learning about the different elements you could build with for decorations.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been Smooth honey and bitter moments as I say. A fellow Queen bee and her honeycomb. There’s always something new to learn and it’s important to listen to your tribe. Back in my day some of the struggles I’ve overcome is realizing a successful business can be run from pretty much anywhere. I believed I needed the biggest and most unique shop. With that, I put limitations on myself. I struggled with creativity due to finances when e-commerce and Myspace could have been a vibe! However, it’s with struggle you learn. I began to Invest my finances and knowledge in multi revenue services with the will to delegate roles. A Queen and her honeycomb

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
On the contrary, I am a Contemporary Artist. A lovely mix between business and creative; I am what you call a creative director! Storytelling is an art and with Set decorations, you can create any vision. I specialize in interior and exterior design. Seeing the joy in everyone’s eyes after we get through creating or decorating elements that add to a space is what I’m most proud of.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
I have such a soft spot for the Earth and Mother Nature. You could write a book about both and it still wouldn’t be enough information. Always something new to learn about
