Check out Rueben Wood’s Artwork

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rueben Wood.

Rueben, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
The 27 year old who is originally from Brunswick, GA, has made the transition by becoming a media consultant, Actor/Director, & Media Personality for his own show, and most importantly the owner of Spaced Out Magazine and SOM Networks. Throughout his career as a journalist, Woods has had the opportunity to meet a list of entertainers, celebrities and other business owners.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I’m a digital influencer and media consultant. I’m also an actor/director. What motivates me to do what I do is just ambition, I could be working in a high end restaurant right now but I’d rather pursue my goals. My message is one word persistent, what does that mean to me? It’s not about never giving up it’s about setting a goal and accomplishing it! For me I didn’t start with goals like many others and since I had to find my way and what I was good at I say persistence is the inspiration behind me and it should be for you too. I’ve worked with major and small brands from doing marketing campaigns to influencers’ campaigns as the face of brands and I love it.

How can artists connect with other artists?
I think any industry is affected by the happenings of the world. With that specifically I think cultural influences are reshaping the dynamics of how roles are even defined. I think with certain laws and civil warrants in our communities it’s affecting businesses, brands, the creative types, and the consumers’ ability to thrive.

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
