Conversations with KiKi Longmire

Today we’d like to introduce you to KiKi Longmire.

Hi KiKi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in Pensacola, Florida where everyday is the same. People think that when you say Pensacola you’re talking about the beach, but no the beach is 35 minutes away. Pensacola is a small town with nothing new, just the same thing everyday. There is a lot of violence & everyone knows everyone. When I turned 18 I knew I wanted more in life & a better area to live. I moved out & started making a life for myself. I now am currently living in Decatur, Georgia. I am an influencer/blogger. Most of my following is on Instagram & Snapchat. I just post myself everyday & try to be consistent with posting every time I go out for the day. I got my following from just being myself & showing the real me! I love to post & show everyone what’s it’s like in my day.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My road to being successful everyday has been very hard. I had parents & friends who doubted me everyday. They talked low of me & treated me like I wasn’t there. That is also exactly what made me push harder in life. I am appreciative of the struggles I been through because without them, I wouldn’t be where or who I am today.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an influencer/blogger. I am known for being myself & being goofy a lot. I am most proud of myself & how far I have come in life. I will grow more & more everyday. The difference between me & other people is that I will always be me. I won’t let anyone dictate my life or choices in my life. I always keep it real & I love to make people happy. To see a smile on someone’s face & to know I put It there warms my heart honestly! If anyone ever needs any advice for anything in life, I want them to feel comfortable to inbox me & I would love to give any advice to help in any way.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My advice to everyone is to always be yourself. To love yourself even if no one else will. To teach people, it’s okay to always be you & do what makes you happy. I want people to understand the things in life that are worth it require hard work. I want people to be able to show people their good & bad days. To remind people that social media isn’t always happy & smiles. That when it is happy days to give people love. Be your own mentor.
