Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
As a certified formulator, The Tsuri Company’s mission reflects my former quest toward personal redefinition, a spiritual journey of self-healing, and an unrequited passion for DIY product creation. Amid my unique journey, I quickly learned that countless other women struggle to navigate their way through life, often losing touch with their needs and suffering in silence with emotional and mental struggles. Tsuri and its respective product lines are an extension of my profound experiences and revelations, mirroring my longtime infatuation for luxury, clean beauty, and natural home care products, all of which promote self-care in various forms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Regardless of the industry, I think it’s safe to say that entrepreneurship is never a smooth road. It’s definitely a road worth traveling but never completely smooth. Regarding my journey with The Tsuri Company, I feel challenged to ensure my product lines are set apart from the others. The self-care product industry is inundated with options, and my staff and I work incredibly hard to make sure Tsuri products are in a class of their own — through unique marketing initiatives and social media strategies, using the highest-quality ingredients for every product, employing elite customer service practices, and ensure beautiful packaging. Those priorities, though, require (wo)manpower, funding, and time, and as a rising business, those resources are not always easy to come by.
