Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Bailey.
Samantha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Although my professional background is in mental health, I have always liked to cook and experiment with food combinations at a very early age but never explored it. I have to honestly say that I fell in love with cooking and developed a passion for feeding/healing others through food after one of my most tragic experiences in life, the loss of my mother in 2016. I noticed how cooking brought me out of depression and through the grief. It also allowed me to tap into a level of creativity that strengthened my connection with God, enhancing my spirituality. More importantly, since I lost my mom to cancer as a result of unhealthy lifestyle, specifically diet and the effects of undiagnosed mental health issues, I aimed to recreate the dishes that we loved to eat in a healthier manner. As my natural gift developed, I was able to further cultivate my connection with the Creator, where I was then able to gain a clearer focus on what to do with God’s gift.
I want to share that message and connection through my food and services. To overemphasize an authentic expression of self as a true representation of spirituality, a true representation of God, which are represented through our natural gifts and talents. As well as to encourage eating with purpose, eating meals that maintain a healthy body, mind and soul. My dishes, beverages, and services are crafted to not only enhance your body and or dining experience but to also aid in improving mental health and promote spiritual health.
Ultimately bringing awareness to Total Wellness/Perpetual Healing in our communities. The practice of healing the mind, body and soul, and fortunately, I found tools for all three areas. Primarily through food/nutrition, to cleanse the body of toxins to better facilitate mental and spiritual healing. Secondly, through education and promotion of mental/spiritual wellness, to allow for the development of healthy practices that collectively heals one mind body and soul.
I’m promoting Total Wellness Healing because I found that in strengthening those areas simultaneously, I was able to be even more creative. I was able to be even more limitless. I was able to be liberated.
Ultimately I would like to create a self-sustaining community that focuses on those three areas of healing perpetually and consistently provides gratitude, grace and genuineness in everything, Promoting and practicing a way of life that is healthy at all times, that maintains spiritual connection and Life balance, projecting what God’s love is.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Major struggle was learning how to run a business, had no clue where to start but definitely knew I had to get this out. It was quite challenging to go from employee to employer, owner, operator. However, with faith and purpose, I was able to find the right resources and achieve this dream.
Current challenge is determining the best next step for Sam’s Soul to Go. Whether to go with the traditional brick and mortar restaurant or something more unconventional and innovative. It has been a struggle to find that special place or concept but in due time.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is that my community grasp the significance of eating with purpose and that through healing of the body, the mind and spirit can be healed as well. To incorporate that concept into our lives as daily routine to build stronger healthier communities. It is important to me because physical chronic illness and mental illness both plague our communities and often indirectly contribute to one another. I believe that once we’re able to understand that and implement practices that promote, support and perpetuate total wellness, the overall health of our communities and our society as a whole improves.
