Hidden Gems: Meet Sneha Jhanb

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sneha Jhanb.

Hi Sneha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I worked as an Industrial Engineer in a corporate environment. One day, on my way to my job, I was waiting at a traffic light. There was a homeless man asking for money for food. I did not have cash on me but I had a good cereal bar. I offered it to him and he refused to take it. In that flash of a moment, I thought that if that man, who has so little, can make a choice to not take food even though he did not know where the next dollar was coming from, I had a road wide open to make choices in my life that are suitable to me. I had recently joined a retail corporate but the environment was so toxic, I was daily figuring out how to wave goodbye. After that incident at the traffic light, I went to work and waved goodbye. The place shut down a few months after I quit. I had known for a long time that it was coming. I decided not to step back into the corporate environment until I figure out myself and my life. I had two children to take care of at this point who were under five and my husband was more than happy for me to have taken this decision.

So this is where I got started in my journey of soul searching. This took me down the path of blogging, life coaching, mindfulness, oracle readings, and financial wellness. I found myself again as a multi-passionate human being. Today I have a sound healing and mindfulness practice where I help clients find a deep connection with their souls and listen to their inner sacred sound. It gives me great pleasure to help people know that they are enough no matter what circumstances they might be in. It is my mission to help people stress less and find more prosperity in their life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth? No! It has not been a smooth road at all. I had a huge learning curve right from learning mindfulness and other practices that I now teach to moving from being an introvert to sharing what I do with a larger group of people to learning social media. It is harder for entrepreneurs to delegate everything at the beginning. Also, there is a road one has to take to leave the idea of perfectionism behind and find your enoughness. I have always thought that being an entrepreneur and a mother has put me on a spiritual journey like no other with so many learning moments. But I have found a lot of support along the way. My biggest support system is my family and their belief in me. Without my husband’s enthusiasm about what I do, it would have been harder. I made a ton of entrepreneurial friends who have struggled and made their mark in a similar fashion. It helps to find a community that understands.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Stress Less With Sneha J is first and foremost a place to help entrepreneurs and working parents find peace through meditation, mindfulness, and sound healing. Through this medium, I also offer life coaching, human design consultation, and oracle readings to help clients get unstuck in times when they are not peaceful enough to rely on their own intuition and need extra help to navigate their life. What sets this brand apart is that it is a personalized and customized brand. My offerings are not one size fits all and can be easily customized to suit a person’s needs.

What’s next?
I have always wanted to write and share my learnings with a larger audience. I recently published a book that quickly became the #1 New Release across different categories. The book is called Stress-Free Prosperity (A Mindful Path To Joy, Abundance, and Wealth). I am very excited about it.

Stress and Prosperity are two sides of the same coin. When you see one face-up, you do not see the other. When you reduce stress in your life, you start increasing prosperity. Your outlook towards life changes. When the pressures in your life increase, your feeling of control goes down. Most of us play this coin flip all our lives. When I started writing this book, one thing was clear. The idea of this book was not to send you down the road of positive thinking your way to prosperity or denying your feelings and forcing yourself to feel positive. The idea of this book is to give actionable strategies to help you lower your stress and increase your prosperity.

My plan is to use this book as a basis to share more stress-free and prosperous living with parents in a form of local and online workshops and coaching. I want to spread the message far and wide. I am looking forward to partnering with local wellness practitioners, book stores, yoga studios, and more avenues to share my book and workshops locally. With the pandemic, it has taken a little longer than I wanted to but I am hoping that recent developments of vaccines will bring the local event gathering enthusiasm back one day.
