Life & Work with Terika Barr

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terika Barr.

Hi Terika, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My husband Ezekiel Barr and I started a couples group on Facebook about three years ago! The year 2021 he said to me “we should do an Adult Prom” do you know how many people I know that didn’t get to go! I said that’s an awesome idea being that we’ve already made a group! So we then put our heads together and had our first Adult Prom August 7, 2021, it was a success! We registered the name THE ADULT PROM and decided that this will be an annual event!

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Some of the struggles along the way are deciding on a theme, how should we promote, and the date. We then looked online at some of the formal balls that people have had in the past around the world. It’s a struggle with the final 3 themes that we had to decide on.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are event coordinators, we put together events that are trendy or events that will fit the individuals. We are most proud of the outcomes because we put so much energy, creativity and effort into these events. What sets us apart from others is that we are a husband and wife working together to make these events memorable!

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The qualities for an important business putting Jehovah God first, being able be creative, dedication, solve and resolve any issues as soon as they come about last but not the least great customer service and integrity.
