Meet Chef Pink of Creole•ish Catering in South Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chef Pink.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Chef Pink. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Cooking is in my DNA. From my great GREAT grandfather on down. I moved to Atlanta from New Orleans in 2013, knowing I wanted my own business but wasn’t quite sure what kind. I always had a passion for creating tasty dishes and loved the reactions I would get when people would try them for the first time. Finally, I decided to jump out on faith and start my catering business. I began with selling dinners and that quickly grew to events, parties, and private dinners.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For a long time, I was running a one-woman show. There were many late nights and early mornings but I’ve always been determined to deliver and get the job done. Once COVID-19 came about, everything shifted. With everyone being quarantined and take out as an only option, there was more demand and my business grew drastically. Since then, I’ve built a team and we’ve been able to rise to the occasion.

Creole•ish Catering – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Creoleish is a catering company offering services for special events, parties, private dining etc. We specialize in Seafood/Creole/Cajun cuisine and are well known many things but most of all, our delicious seafood egg rolls. What I am most proud of as a company is the amount of traction we were able to gain in the past six months. My flavor sets me apart from others. I have a unique Louisiana style of preparing my foods that will blow your taste buds away.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being able to quit my 9-5 to pursue my dreams has been my proudest moment.
