Today we’d like to introduce you to Branden Gaddis.
Hi Branden, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
2019 God gave me a dream of a business to support my family and build a legacy. Watches are a classic accessory for both male and female and something that I have always enjoyed wearing myself. My mother, Brynetta Gaddis, inspired me to be a business owner, she always told me to get my own and build generational wealth. That ignited a desire in me for me. Shortly after, God gave me a dream and vision to start my own Timepiece company that represented Him. I shared this with my wife, Larissa Gaddis, and she has supported my vision every day since. I got to where I am today through my faith. I hold onto our company slogan, “Faith is Timeless” every single day. It takes timeless faith to accomplish your goals and dreams. I have two partners that believed with me, Theory Haywood and Antonio Moultry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
As smooth as entrepreneur can go. Everything worth achieving is worth working for, so I push through every challenge with determination. Some of the challenges I have faced have been internally. God has used this process to develop me into a better man. I wanted to rush the process instead of embracing it. I learned to listen to and value the insight of my partners. I have gained so much more confidence in my ability to push past my fear of failure and execute no matter if anybody believes in your vision or not. If God gave it to you, obey.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Victory Brand Co is a black-owned luxury Timepiece Company. What sets us apart is our Faith, knowing that God is the reason why we are here. It is very apparent in our design. The Roman numeral three represents him, The Father, The Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I started this Company at 27 years old with nothing. My first attempt at entrepreneurship failed and I was humbled to work as a substitute teacher at my old high school after leaving my first job.
