Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Greere.
Brandon, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It was a gift that was handed down to me from my mother she always wanted to be a Fashion Designer she just didn’t get the support she needed so she gave up and when she found out that it was something I was very serious about being a Designer she was excited and very supporting fast forward to now I stuck with it moved from Milwaukee to Atlanta met my very talented business partner and mentor Bernardette Hurtte Reid she showed me the ins and outs of how the business side work she knows best being that she graduated at the top of her class in technical design we put us a team together and we have been building ever since.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Chasing a dream is never a smooth road. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. Chasing this dream I have overcome a lot of struggles my bank account stayed in overdraft I always short on money for inventory. A lot of times I thought about tossing in the towel and calling it quits. It was times when as long as my hair was cut and phone was on I did not care about nothing I use my work checks to invest in the dream. I went years without a car I wanted to reinvest. I still face struggles to this day but all the greats overcame them so I know we can to and I have faith in the creator I know he got my back.
Please tell us about Sha’ron De’lonta Clothing. What should we know?
Sha’ron De’lonta is a Contemporary men and women brand based in Atlanta GA founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin “FIND YOUR EXPRESSION” is what we help people do and as a company, we stand to answer the question “WHATS A LIFESTYLE WITHOUT FASHION” no matter what walk of life one leads their dress style will undoubtedly express how they look and feel about themselves and others may perceive that. Our goal, as a company is to merge two worlds together; The Streets and the runway with Statement pieces letting everyone know that where you come from does not have to dictate where you want to go.
What were you like growing up?
I was always ahead of my time coming up very mature for my age I was always a thinker a leader never a follower I liked to hang around older people when I was little and listen to stories about life they would tell what to do and what not to do it made me very wise and ahead of my age group I figured if I could merge they advice with my thinking I could be ahead of the rest growing up in Milwaukee taught me a lot about life I have seen a LOT before my time but I never let where I come from stopping me from where I’m trying to go in life and I feel like being book smart and street smart gives me an edge over a lot of people.
