Meet Camille Crenshaw

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Camille Crenshaw. Camille was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Dana Rice.

Hi Camille, we’re so thrilled to have you sharing your story with us today. Maybe we can kick things off by having you introduce yourself to our readers? We’d love to have you go into your story and how you got to where you are today.
My passion for singing started when I was five years old. I performed a gospel song by Mahalia Jackson and won best of show at school. Through that experience, I’ve created a love for singing and being on stage. I started some acting classes shortly after. My acting instructor told my mom to get some head shots to send to local agents. Atlanta Models & Talent Inc. responded and asked me to come in to interview. They liked what they saw and heard and decided to provide representation for me. Since then, I’ve been auditioning for all kinds of roles in TV-Film and Commercials. I’m happy to say that I have booked my first supporting role on a Netflix TV series as well as a recurring appearance. I’ve also recorded my first single titled Try Something New by me Camille Lashay, which is available on all streaming platforms.

Alright, so we’d love to learn more about your acting career. What should we know?
I am an honor student in fourth grade. Currently working on a major show featured on Netflix Signed with AMT Agency Thecamillelashay – YouTube and Instagram Recorded single – “Try Something New” Camille Lashay

As you know, we’re big fans of Dana Rice and we know you’ve worked with them quite a bit as well. We’d love to hear about your experience working with Dana Rice.
Coach Dana‘s voice lessons have helped me improve things such as breathing, holding notes longer and having consistency in articulation. Coach Dana was the very first vocal coach I’ve ever worked with. She makes me feel confident in my abilities.
