Meet Christopher “Soul” Eubanks of Culture Vegan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher “Soul” Eubanks.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name Christopher Eubanks but most people refer to me as Soul. I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio but was raised in East Point and have been a Georgia resident for the majority of my life. As a child, I was a creative and often expressed myself through various forms of art like drawing, film and most notably hip-hop music. As a young adult, I landed a job in corporate America but during my tenure, I realized that I wanted to pursue a different path so after seven years I decided to leave my job and become an entrepreneur to pursue creative work with a meaningful purpose. Using my artistic talents to address political and social issues is what has always fueled me and I continue to use my talents to fight as an activist in the animal rights movement.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The obstacles and challenges of being an activist/entrepreneur have been numerous but also have been extremely rewarding. The biggest obstacles that I have faced on my path have been remaining self-disciplined, keeping consistent income, creating a blueprint for my endeavors and properly managing my time between activism and entrepreneurship. On the path to following your spirit there is seldom a template for your specific journey so often you have to figure things out as you go and this can be a challenge. Even through the adversity the reward that comes from being able to give your energy to causes you fight for and believe in are well worth every struggle you may endure.

Please tell us about Culture Vegan.
Culture Vegan is a media channel that produces video content to help spread the message of veganism. We capture the pulse of the vegan culture by showcasing its colorful festivals, eclectic dining, vibrant fashions, and its emerging entertainment scene. Alongside our creative content, our grassroots journalism covers various animal rights issues fueling the vegan movement. What I am most proud of about Culture Vegan is that we capture many aspects of an ethical vegan lifestyle and not just the diet to produce content to inspire a more compassionate world for all beings. What sets us apart is that our channel not only produces a plethora of vegan based content but we do so in high-quality film fashion since I have a degree in film making.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There are things that if I knew sooner would have made my journey much easier along the way but that may have altered my path and personal growth and I love the person who I have become too much to challenge the natural order of things. It’s not always easy learning our lessons in the way the universe intends them but that’s the fabric of destiny and is what makes our experience unique. So If I had to start over, I wouldn’t do anything different because that would deprive me of not only who I am but also the lessons I have learned through my failures and my successes.
