Meet Craig Garcia of AGI Entertainment in Marietta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Craig Garcia.

Craig, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Craig Garcia and I am originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, I started off in the entertainment business at 18 yrs old, after doing a popular play called Grease, at my local High School. Following that play, I knew I really wanted to pursue my passion to be a recording artist and actor.

I became a part of a boy band called Next Level, which gained a lot of attention locally and surrounding states. We were on track to getting a record deal, but unfortunately one of our members passed away from a motorcycle accident and the group disbanded after that. Thankfully, I have been able to stay in contact with my remaining friends who were a big part of the group.

In 1996, I moved to Atlanta to continue pursuing my career and met my best friend, Natarsha, who is now my lovely Wife and also a singer, actor and artistic director. We had the opportunity to become really good friends for a little over a year before we married each other. As an entrepreneur at heart, I asked her what she thought about starting a business and she was very open to the idea.

In 2000, we started AGI Entertainment, which focuses on Training & Development for Artists, Management and Production. For close to 18 years, we have been able to create stars that you can now see/hear on TV, Film, Broadway, Voice Overs, Commercials, Theater, Radio and other main streams of online Media.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, not at all. We have faced everything from negative comments about our successes, financial hardship in the early start of our company, to be able to trailblaze a new path for young people as well as adults, in order to live their dream in Entertainment.

We are a company with Christian values, so we do business with integrity, love, faith and a high level of excellence. There are some that don’t do business that way, in the world of Entertainment, so in many senses, we have become a light and a safe place to learn, grow and succeed. We have become a place where Parents, their Young Stars, and our Adult clients can trust.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the AGI Entertainment story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a Performing Arts and Entertainment Company that specializes in Training & Development for those who want to be in the industry as a Singer, Dancer, and Actor (Triple Threat). We also Manage clients and guide their careers as well as Produce High-Level social media content, Play Productions, Concerts, Music Videos, TV Shows and Movie Shorts.

We are known as the place that “Creates Stars” and “Where Dreams Really Do Come True”.

I am most proud that we have a track record or launching multiple careers over the years and many are still working in the business.

What sets us apart from other companies is that we care about people and we strive to show that daily to our clients. Creativity, Discipline, and Drive is what makes us tick as a company and those three things are streamlined in everything we do.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
We believe in Faith and that all things are possible with God. This is who causes us to have the success, along with our hard work and dedication.
