Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Parks.
Danielle, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Hello, I am Danielle Parks, however, most people call Dani or Dani. P. I am a brand strategist, speaker, and author. I grew up mostly in Germany, courtesy of the military and was able to live overseas again as a Solider in the Army. After I was honorably discharged out of the military, I started to volunteer more in the community and discovered a new found love for mentoring. My passion grew as I was inspired to create fun and empowering events for girls and women that challenge them to embrace their feminity as well as thrive with a positive mindset during their everyday life.
I have always loved helping people achieve their goals, so becoming a Life Coach was a no brainer. However, the more I planned and coordinated events, the more I began to see the rewarding value in branding and marketing. I had a natural niche for it and decided to explore it more on a professional level. I was fascinated by all of the information, techniques, and resources used for branding and I was hooked! I am a natural visionary and strategist so I was in heaven the more I learned.
Everything we go through and learn in life is just a stepping stone to the next level. If we allow ourselves to think outside of the box, the sky is only the beginning of what we can achieve. As I began to learn more about branding and applying that knowledge to my brand, my business started to evolve. People began to notice my social media more and started to approach me about helping them with their personal branding in order to create a noteworthy influence and presence on social media.
So I leveraged what I learned as a life coach, my background in psychology and counseling, as well as my training as a minister and applied the appropriate skills and knowledge to creating brand coaching and management services. And now I am here! Your favorite Brand Strategist at your service… Let’s WORK!!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Oh Gosh, no!!! Theodore Roosevelt once said, “Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty…” The effort I can do, but the pain and difficulty… I have learned to use it to my advantage by letting the lessons stretch me and propel me into my next opportunities.
One lesson I learned over the years is not to be afraid to evolve. Where you start today will not be where you are tomorrow… if you are, you are not growing. My initial step into entrepreneurship started as an initiative program for a church mentoring group it slowly evolved to my own girl’s mentoring group, then into forums and seminars for girls and mothers, then life coaching for single moms, and now brand coaching for mompreneurs. Same vision, just a different strategy. So when you find yourself and your business evolving, let me be the first to tell you, “NO, you have not failed, leverage the knowledge you have learned and understood, apply it to the new direction and execute with a new strategy.
We’d love to hear more about your work.
My company is I3 Coaching, and I help business owners create a brand identity that gives them a better presence on social media to turn engagements into new customers. I am known for being a visionary and a strategist. Pitch to me what you are trying to do, and I will catch the vision and run with an unique strategy for your brand. This is what sets me apart from other brand strategists. Instead of… well I can’t tell you my secret sauce, but I can say and guarantee no two strategy plans will be the same when we work together.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan for the future is to make I3 Coaching an agency and a leader in this industry. I am looking forward to making connections and building international business relationships. I am having my first international women’s empowerment conference on the beautiful island of Antigua and Barbuda this November, so this is the first step to many international relationships I will build over the months and years to come.
