Meet Dejon Brooks of Trend Watchers in Marietta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dejon Brooks.

Dejon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As far as my story, I’ve come a long way. I didn’t think of Trend Watchers overnight. This is a direct result of all of the trials and errors I’ve had with previous business ventures.

I did a handful of side gigs online while I was in middle school but my first actual “break” was during my freshman year of high school with YouTube.

When I started my original YouTube channel, I intended to store information I knew online in videos. I was afraid I would forget it so I would create my own archive of information on YouTube.

Fortunately, I forgot all of my videos were set public so a few of them went viral months later. This is how I discovered the potential that YouTube had.

I kept on doing this until I spotted a trending YouTube category, few people were taking advantage of. Dank memes.

I created a channel within this category and within a week, I started getting over 100k views/day gaining thousands of subscribers daily.

This is how I discovered how powerful trends were. I kept on doing this for another eight months until my YouTube channel got demonetized.

When that happened, my main source of income was gone so I had to figure out different ways to earn money again.

The first tried creating a social media marketing agency. That worked out okay but I wasn’t good at getting clients so I had to turn to something else.

I next looked into real estate wholesaling. I ended up finding a high profile mentor to help me in this space and I almost closed my first deal with a profit of $5,000.

Only issue I had with real estate wholesaling was that you have to take advantage of people in situations where they have to sell their home fast and the only way to profit is to send them a low ball cash offer hoping they accept due to their life situation.

Lady I was working with, needed to sell fast so she could move across the country to help her mother who was in a declining health-wise. The investor that was going to buy the property off me wanted to lower the price even further, and It just didn’t feel right so I canceled the agreement and sent the homeowner somewhere else where she can get more cash for her home.

This was a critical lesson in my entrepreneurship journey. It taught me that when you do business with people, you should always leave them in a better position than they started in without taking advantage of them.

So again, I was back to the drawing board.

Fast forward to my senior year of high school, we had to create a product for a project. I decided to found a company, so I randomly came up with Trend Watchers.

I did it as a joke, but months after the project was completed, I realized how much potential it had. It was something I was knowledgeable in, enjoyed, and could provide 10x value to my customers.

And it turns out I was correct.

Within my first month of launching Trend Watchers, one of my first customers went from 100k views/ month to over 1 million views a month just by applying the trends and formulas we provide our users with.

I also have dozens of other customers that are getting amazing results from the trends we issue daily.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
If Trend Watchers was my first business, it would have been 100% harder. Luckily for me, I was always trying new things and learning new skills. Each new venture I would start would teach me something new.

Here go a list below of my previous ventures and what I learned from them.

– Selling online gaming accounts
I learned how to read HTML, connect websites to a host, domain names, etc.

– YouTube
I learned how to spot trends early & take advantage of them in a profitable way.

– Dropshipping
I learned how to create high converting websites, urgency/scarcity, supply chains, logistics.

– Social media marketing agency
Run FB & Google ads, ad copyrighting, persuasion, selling, tracking results, Excel.

– Real Estate wholesaling
Price negotiation, relationship building, how to read & write contracts from scratch, delegating tasks/contracts, networking.

After writing all of this down, I realized something fascinating. And I actually created my own quote based on this discovery.

” Success occurs when years of building skills & networking meets opportunity”. – Dejon Brooks

Thanks to all of these skills I knew, creating Trend Watchers & developing it was a breeze. I already had all of these skills mastered I just needed to apply it to something I was passionate about. This is all we teach at Trend Watchers. We show content creators how to prepare themselves for the next big thing so that when it comes, they can easily take advantage of that trend and profit massively.

That all success is. People love to make it complicated.

Please tell us about Trend Watchers.
Trend Watchers notifies content creators about upcoming & current trends and show them how to profit from them.

We goal is to notify people early enough about a particular trend while there is little to no competition. This will make it easier for your content to rise to the top so that when the trend does blow up, all the traffic will come to you.

What makes Trend Watchers stand out is our unique system to apply trends so our users may profit off them. Other companies provide trends to their customers but fail to show them how they can use that trend for their advantage.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Some of my favorite memories from my childhood was when I was in the Boy Scouts Of America program. I enjoyed going to the scout camps, learning new things and have fun with my scout troop.

I enjoyed going on the campouts, cooking food, taking baths in lakes, going to the outhouses, and riding home all smelly and tired. Sometimes wet from the rain lol.

We even encountered a few bears and wild animals here and there.
