Today we’d like to introduce you to Erika Brown.
Hi Erika, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I worked my way into the Real Estate world after spending years building a lucrative career in banking. Within the past year, I have doubled my real estate portfolio! I currently own 38 units; this includes Single family homes, small multifamily, and large multi-family homes within the metro Atlanta area and Texas. In addition to investing all over the city, I offer multiple classes and an online cohort to educate and equip people who desire to begin a career in investing. I manage to do all this while leading a growing team of eight agents, Homeschooling my 3 boys and being a Co- Founder of Bolst homes.(https://bolst.homes)
With God’s grace, hard work, and learning from the people that I aspired to be like, I turned a career as a Real Estate Agent into a multi-million dollar Real Estate empire that provides jobs, empowers the community, and provides online education to help others create generational change.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There have been many struggles along the way. I faced a lot of struggles in my journey to invest in Real Estate. I didn’t grow up knowing anyone that was an investor. The mindset that it took to begin taking risks was rough. The biggest struggle that I faced hands down was finding the capital to begin investing.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am the team leader of an amazing group of purpose-driven individuals with Strive Realty Group! We are the most ethnically diverse Real Estate team in Atlanta! We work with buyers, sellers, investors and people who are looking to relocate to Atlanta! We are experts at what we do, plus we help our buyers and sellers get connected into the neighborhoods that they are in while focusing on assisting them with building generational wealth. Helping others build generational wealth is what I’m most proud of. I also believe these various aspects of connection to the local neighborhood, along with building generational wealth, set us apart.
