Today we’d like to introduce you to Hector Guaymas.

Hector, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
In The Industry, People Know Me As Polar Bear. I Recently Started Shooting Photography And Videography In December Of 2015. I Started My Own Little Business “PBSE Photography” Which Stands For “Polar Bear Seize Everything” In Late January Of 2016. I Started Doing Photography And Video For A Hand Full Of Independent Music Artists From My Hometown Gainesville, GA. I Decided To Expand, Take It Further And Shoot With New Artist, People, And Also Sponsoring Couple Independent Music Showcases In Atlanta. People And Artist Been Showing Much Support. I have Been Working Hard And Doing Lots Of Networking To Get “PBSE Photography” Out There In Atlanta. I Know It’s Going To Take Time And Patience To Get Where I Want To Be With My Brand/Company. I’m Just Going To Keep Pushing, Networking, Promoting, Getting Out There Much More To Keep “PBSE” Out In Atlanta And State Wide.

Has it been a smooth road?
Yes, Its Been A Smooth Road To Where I’m At Right Now. The Only Struggle I Had Is, I Would Say Was Learning And Teaching Myself How To Better Function A DSLR Camera Because I Had Never Studied Or Went To School For Photography I Just Picked Up The Camera And Started Shooting.

Has there been people or an institution that has played a pivotal role in your career?
Just family and real close friends also music artist that I first shot with. Family and friends because they know that I have been wanting to do photography and videography since couple years ago and have they supported me from the start. Artist that first shot with me because they gave me the chance to do a photo shoot with them knowing that it was my first time doing photography.

What kind of work do you look forward to most?
Looking forward to getting a chance to shoot with some major music artist in the industry. Maybe getting to do a photography session or letting me shoot at their live concerts.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were just starting out?
Nothing to me everything is going well from the start of my photography journey
