Meet Jade Ladson of J. Ladson Weddings

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Ladson.

Transformative. Daring. Awe-Inspiring…

These are just a few of the many words to describe premier wedding designer Jade Ladson. As the Founder & Owner of J. Ladson Weddings (formerly known as TSO Events), she has become one of the most sought after in the event planning industry due to her ability to transform the ideas and concepts of her clients into ones of breathtaking magnitudes. Some notable clients include the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport for its 2015 Delta Airlines Terminal Christmas décor and Rick Case for their Duluth grand opening & charity event, which raised over $57 million for Pediatric Cancer Research. She has also gone as far as to secure a live performance from R&B Singer/Songwriter Regina Belle at the legendary Fox Theatre for a previous client’s birthday.

Today, Jade has changed the direction of J. Ladson Weddings and is focusing on putting smiles on the beautiful faces of brides. As a certified wedding planner, she has created her niche in assisting women with turning their matrimonial dreams into a reality. From elaborate centerpieces to the charming floral arrangements, this “Wedding Whisperer” has been known to make magic happen. With over 20 years in the business, Jade has successfully met the needs of clients not only in Atlanta but in Texas, Florida, California, Alabama, Mexico, as well as the Dominican Republic. Whether it be a destination wedding or simple yet elegant affair, there is always a feeling of accomplishment she gets after executing a full wedding production. Her ultimate goal is to create timeless moments her clients and their attendees.

As a veteran, Ladson sets aside time to mentor aspiring event planners and provide consultations to those who are looking to create their own DIY events. This mompreneur also uses her talents to help children in need. She is heavily involved in her children’s schools; often planning holiday festivities for the students and faculty. Through confidential referrals, Jade has made it her personal mission to designate time annually towards planning milestone birthday parties for two children experiencing financial hardship. She has worked with organizations like Pretty Girl Problems and I am a Queen Foundation to make an impact in the lives of youth within metro-Atlanta.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Lol, this question really made me chuckle. I will just say that it has always been interesting, in fact, kind of like a roller coaster ride.

There were some lows along the way, but every time I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, speed picked up and we would go one more loopy loop. So now I just consider myself a lifetime ticket holder at this amusement park.

When things get bumpy, I just throw my hands in the air, hold on tight, and ride until the wheels fall off.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about J. Ladson Weddings – what should we know?
J. Ladson Weddings is an exclusive boutique wedding firm offering luxury wedding planning to a select clientele. Our specialty is managing all aspects of your celebration from the stamps on the invitations, to the champagne brunch the following morning. We provide an overall magical wedding planning experience “From yes to the Honeymoon”.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT:
I’m hands-on with every one of my events. While my clients may work with my assistants from time to time, I will always be their primary point of contact. I also only book a limited number of weddings to assure that I can give EACH bride the same level of quality service and attention.

HOW IT WORKS:
The J. Ladson Wedding experience begins as soon as you walk through the doors of our boutique. Your wedding day is a lifetime occasion and within these walls, you will find nothing less than pure bliss. Our top priority is creating priceless memories for you and your fiance’ by coordinating a wedding that celebrates your love story.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The key that keeps me going is the desire to continuously grow and get better. A very good friend who is near and dear to me told me that it’s important to not only measure your level of success in financial gain. Instead, you measure success by making sure that your process is getting better, you are making a difference in the life of others, and you are doing the things that make you happy.
