Meet Jason Johnson of OutTheWindowMediaGroup in Southside

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Johnson.

Jason, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
That’s a long story but I won’t put us through that. Music is life and becomes my biggest passion in 2008. I dropped out of Fort Valley and left to what I now like to call it, “humble myself”. Within this time I’ve been molding and creating the reality I choose to exist in. With that being said, I’m emerging from the Southside with my bruddas to introduce a new outlook and perspective on the world we live in with raw quality and a rugged finesse.

We’ve started a media group, which includes the great Julian Morgan, and we plan to create and release art from all facets, not limited to music, film, and fashion. We have a clothing line called “Par La Fenètre” which will be dropping its first pieces in 2020. In terms of music, there are too many projects to release! I’m dropping “6 $toves” which is an ode to the work ethic and drive to experience finer things no matter the means of obtaining. Also be on the lookout for “Leb’s World” from the Celeb Da Kid, “LoneWolf 2: The Pack” from KDG, and ” Venn vs. Venn Marley” from Venn Marley Sosa. With in-house production, shooting/producing/editing our own material, and a clothing line in the works, I feel we can be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
So maybe we will dive deeper into that story. It has not been a smooth road, to say the least, but definitely a journey I signed up for. The realest struggles along the way have been maintaining consistency, which is always hard in the beginning, but we keep feet to pavement nothing will deter. Opening up and displaying the craft to the outside world is also a struggle. “I’m an artist and I’m sensitive about my craft”. This new work, however, is a strong pocket and a good foundation to build from in this new chapter of my journey. And man, money bruh, I won’t go there. Takes money to make money, its never too much when investing in yourself. Always remember that..the money will come, create because you love it!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with OutTheWindowMediaGroup – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
The media group specializes in music writing/production, photography, film, and fashion. We create and assist in the creating of raw content in various artistic platforms. Speaking for myself, I’m most proud of us withstanding all the “f*ck sh*t”(no better way to describe it) we’ve all dealt with together and separately, come together and consciously decide to take control of lives for the better.

Ownership is important and with us owning our media group we have a chance to at the least control our narrative. What sets us apart is our mind state. The universe is 100% mental, that’s really the only thing that separates all of us. Think it and then create it. One day I was watching “Crackheads Gone Wild: Atlanta” and one of the J’s said, “There are three types of people in this world. Those that make it happen. Those that see it happening. And those who don’t even know something is going on”. I chose who I wanted to be. Your turn.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
At this point, I won’t call it luck, whether it be good or bad. The Universe has been molding and guiding my movements and leading me to where I want to be the whole time, albeit, taking 29 years to realize.
