Meet JP Hannan of Barefoot Luxury in Buckhead

Today we’d like to introduce you to JP Hannan.

Barefoot Luxury was started in late 2016 by JP Hannan, an executive with 25 years of experience in rolling up fragmented local businesses into large public company platforms.

The company was founded on the premise that today’s traveler, particularly Millennial travelers, desire a much fuller vacation experience. Travelers want to experience new challenges, connect with new people, and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Barefoot Luxury is all about casual elegance in exotic locations, with service being the top priority.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Start-ups are always bumpy. You have to have a solid road map at the outset, but then also know how to get around unforeseen obstacles. This is particularly true when adding new technologies to legacy businesses.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We are an experiential travel company. We specialize in vacation add-on excursions and classes in scuba diving, surfing, fishing, hiking, biking, and cultural events.

We believe in high touch, personalized service for every guest. Whether you are a complete beginner or an expert, you will enjoy your experience with Barefoot Luxury

What were you like growing up?
I am a prototypical middle child of a very large family. I always enjoyed finding solutions to problems, and building things.
