Meet Karen Stephens – Cooper of Serenity Living-“Healing for The Hurting”

Today we’d like to introduce you to Karen Stephens – Cooper.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Karen. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
Writing has always been a hobby. I started out just writing poems. Then it became a way of release for me. I would write my feelings out on paper. I begin writing love stories to God. This was my personal journey that has brought me to where I’m at today. I released my first book on April 28th, 2018. Entitle “Healing for The Hurting”. It’s a book of short stories, poems and my testimonies of my life journey.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a journey of good and bad. My struggles were reliving some of the pain. It was not easy, but it was well worth it. I feel free to move forward and to continue on the path that God has me on. Writing is my inner connection with God. It’s healing; it brings me joy and peace. It’s relaxation and meditation.

Serenity Living-“Healing for The Hurting” – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition? Since the release of my book, my heart’s desire is to continue to spread words of encouragement. To help others that are struggling with the same or similar adversities. I want others to know that there is a God that can move mountains just as He stated in His word.

My website Serenity Living which can be found at www.karenstephenscooper.com is a site built on love. It promotes serenity living, an untroubled mind. You will find my journey, how I have overcome and how I’m maintaining. Words of inspirations, my blogs on everyday living, my fitness journey and more.

It’s all a part of healing. Mind, body, and soul. Healing within spiritually, mentally and physically. I’m humbled at what God has in store, and I’m grateful He chose to use me to do His will. To walk in love and spread His glory.

What set’s me apart from others is that I’m uniquely design by God, and there is no other like me. My style, my brand it’s me. It’s who God has called me to be!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success with the word happiness. I can be successful at a lot of things, but what is success without happiness? I find joy at being a mother, author, and a friend. I’m happy. I feel successful. Whatever makes you happy, so full of joy is your success.

For where your treasures is there will be your heart also. I try to stay away from negative vibes. When I’m up against adversity, I take a step back and ask the question “God what is it you have me to learn in this particular situation?”

Even though things may look bad, it’s always something good tuck in that same package. You have to stay focus and pray.
