Meet Kevin Foote of Sky’s the Limit Adventures in West Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Foote.

Kevin, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Fun activities like traveling, music, movies and going on adventures always have been my passion and my escape from daily routine whether school or work. I have always loved exploring world cultures, mountains, nature, food, art, history and urban places. But part of the fun was sharing my stories and experiences of my amazing travel journeys and aim to inspire other wanderers to see what this amazing world has to offer and come tag along with me to make more memories to share. I have been planning events and trips with my group at least 10 years and made great friends along the way. I will keep doing it until it feels a job.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My struggles have been getting people to commit to going to events. People can so flaky sometimes. They know they wanna go but make up excuses to take the time to enjoy themselves. My philosophy is plan stuff that I can enjoy so I will have good times whether its 1 or 100 people joining me which makes it mostly a smooth ride.

Flexibility is key and you need to be prepared to work relentlessly and for as long as necessary to ensure that everything is ready on time for your event. When the event is in full swing on the day/night there is often no time to relax (or even sometimes to eat!). At the end of the day, you are putting on the event for other peoples benefit.

Sky’s the Limit Adventures – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
As an Atlanta native to one of the greatest cities in the country and all-around ‘man about town’, I provide tours, adventures, excursions, and in-depth insight about Atlanta from the all-inclusive view of the genuine local.

Whether you’re interested in Nightlife & Entertainment, Food & Wine, Outdoor Activities, Nature & Adventure, Arts & Culture, Historic Tours or anything in between – my diverse taste in activities is sure to satisfy!

In addition to providing memorable experiences, I am also an expert event planner and can coordinate events for groups of all sizes. In doing what I love, over time I have planned hundreds of successful, fun events. They include camping, kayaking, movie screenings, private parties, exclusive access to local events, skydiving, NASCAR racing, horseback riding, wine tasting, retreats, tailored date nights, and more!

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My definition of success is independence and confidence in failures and triumphs. Success is the freedom to live your life as an adventure and to understand that all you have to do is to choose to do so whether you fail or not.
