Meet Lavette Minn of The Family Brand Movement in Ellenwood

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lavette Minn.

Lavette Minn started this inspiring journey when she and her 17-year-old son, Che Homme, ‘So Gone Challenge’ video went viral on Facebook in 2016. The response they received was overwhelming as it received more than 3 million views. Soon after, Lavette launched The Family Brand Movement, alongside her son, Che Homme. Together, the two are focused on encouraging other families to do the same and build unique and productive family brands. These bonds created among the families can not only make them successful but can also bring financial freedom in their lives. The Family Brand Movement has also announced the launch of The Family Brand Store™, their online eCommerce brand that features an apparel line promoting family wealth & entrepreneurship.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Building a family brand has many challenges. There was a time period where Lavette and Che didn’t work together because he wanted to do other things. This led Lavette to pull back and re-brand The Family Brand Movement because of this change in plans. Along the way, there were many plans that fell apart and many days of doubts and worry but Lavette refused to give up. Family is the backbone to wealth creation in our communities and because of this strong belief, The Family Brand is now back together as they are currently planning the relaunch of their Building a Business Workshops: Mastermind Your Family Brand for parents and children.

The Family Brand Movement – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The Family Brand Movement aims to create stronger and productive family bonds in people. This inspiring movement has been designed to encourage families to build family bonds that potentially lead to building family brands and businesses. Nobody can have a better business partnership than two family members and this is the reason why an overwhelming percentage of businesses worldwide are family-owned and operated. The Family Brand Movement specializes in family business branding through their mastermind sessions, workshops, books, real estate investing, apparel line and podcast that features new and seasoned entrepreneurs speaking on various business topics.

The Family Brand Movement has been launched as a perfect way to counter the rising rate of poverty, especially among the African American and Latino children in the United States and elsewhere.
