Meet Dr. Linda Bostick of Riverview Veterinary Hospital in Cumberland

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Linda Bostick.

Prior to opening Riverview Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Bostick practiced shelter medicine in New York City and was an emergency clinician in the Atlanta area. Riverview opened in July 1992. They are celebrating 25 years in this location! They treat cats, dogs, small mammals such as ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, hedgehogs, rats. Additionally, they treat reptiles and birds. They are a small hospital and are proud to offer professional service with a personal touch.

Has it been a smooth road?
The practice was started from the ground up and of course it was a challenge to become established. Although we have been in the community for some time, we must continuously strive to exceed client expectations and earn their trust with every encounter.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Riverview Veterinary Hospital – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Riverview Veterinary Hospital provides wellness, medical and surgical services to a wide variety of species. We are proud to serve pets and families in the community for the past 25 years.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the variety of activities, restaurants, festivals.

I wish there was a more extensive public transportation system.

I am so very proud of you.Your devotion to all, shows me how lucky these babies are to have you watch over them and care for them. Having watched over you since you were a young student at Tuskegee and the caring you have always showed makes me realize how very lucky we are to have you

My husband and I love Dr. Bostic and her team. When we had to put our Chow down she showed so much love and compassion as we dealt with her transition. They gently loved us through the process and they even gave us her paw print and a sympathy card.

I would put my pet in her hands and refer others to her anytime, any day!!!

Happy 25th and blessings for many, many more!!!

Dr. Boz has been my Yugii’s (Pug-black) Vet for over 10 years now. I wouldn’t trust her care to anyone else in the world. I honestly believe I have one of the few doggies that get excited when I turn into the parking lot of the Vet’s office. Thank you Dr. Boz and team for your amazing care.

Dr Bostick and the staff are wonderful. They saved my Titus the ferrets life when he had a hairball obstruction. She was knowledgeable, gentle and caring! She is the best for ferrets! She came very highly recommended and I would recommend her if you are a ferret owner! Thank you again to Dr. Bostick and her staff!

Best vet ever. I have been going here for over 11 years. I still make the drive even though I don’t live in the area anymore.

Dr. Bostick – heartfelt congratulations on this milestone. Not only are you an amazing veterinarian, I must tell all that you have a heart of gold. Thank you for rescuing Wynston (Boston Terrier), and allowing us to adopt him. Over these past 8+ years, this “one-eyed wonder” has brought nothing but joy and happiness to our family and to everyone he meets.

HOW DID I NOT DISCOVER THIS VET SOONER?!?! She is absolutely wonderful! I will gladly drive four times the distance I drove to my old vet for the kind of care she provides. (Key word in that sentence – CARE. Not just medical treatment, but CARE.) She was so thorough and she took so much time educating me about my cat’s issues. She will be our furever vet! ❤️
