Meet Moye Colquitt of AdTaste in Historic Norcross

Today we’d like to introduce you to Moye Colquitt.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Moye. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have over 2 decades of marketing, photography & graphic design experience, I developed a sharp talent & creative mind to capture an idea and make it reality. Going back 20 years ago, I was traveling all around the world as an international model & photographer, this is where I my passion for art, advertising, and photographic imagery.

In 1999, AD TASTE INC. was born. I expanded my ideas to clients that were looking to customize their marketing while incorporating modern & classic design with a distinctive taste. I believe my eye for style and design produces an alluring end product, plus marketing collateral that captures the attention of my client’s prospective buyers.

In all of my photography work, I am trying to capture not just “beautifully exposed images” but images that engage the senses! I believe that business should have a specialized “look”, something “custom” & most importantly a “look” that can make your business stand out from your competition and make you one of a kind.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
LOL! I am in my 18th year of my photography & design business & it has only become somewhat “smooth” over the past 3-4 years. There have been many ups and downs, but I believe that these moments in life & in business are what make us into formidable players in the whole scope of things. In other words, I wouldn’t trade my struggles for anything, I believe things have happened to me the way that they were designed to as they continue to happen.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the AdTaste story. Tell us more about the business.
I produce custom photography as well as shoot video for web commercials + we offer graphic design & printing services & also social media campaigns.

I believe that my style alone sets me apart, I’m an artist & it would be my hope that when anyone views my work, they can see a style. The thing I am most proud of as a company? just staying in the competition and continuing to work & providing for my son.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t know that I believe in luck so much… I believe being prepared for an opportunity makes you “lucky” 🙂 & I believe God above provides blessings & opportunities.

I have known Moye Colquitt for a number of years both before Ad Taste and after. He has always had an amazing sense of professionalism and a wonderful eye to capture what many don’t even see. He can get the most amazing shots from the simplest of subjects. It takes a true artist to do that. I am proud to call him a friend, and a wonderful businessman. His pride in his work and the products he produces make him have one of the most outstanding and unique visions of anyone in his field.
