Meet Perrion Pruitt of Sacclife in Gainesville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Perrion Pruitt.

Perrion, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started taking rap seriously at 10 or 11. I was signed to two independent labels Vision Entertainment and Checkpoint Entertainment. I was in a group called Purple Heart Soldiers and we separated which made me the solo artist I am now. Hard work and perseverance is really what got me to where I am. Never given up. Grew up in Gainesville GA with little to no opportunity. But I’m also one of the top rappers in my city.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it wasn’t. I actually left both labels and ended a lot of friendships relationships or anything compromising that. One of the struggles is just being able to generate or put out as much material as I write. Getting into certain clubs or events due to parenting working and trying to maintain a stable home for my children.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Sacclife – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
Sacclife is my company and symbolic in many ways. The most important is that it symbolizes my struggle and where I’m going with my career. I’m proud of the fact that people acknowledge my company and can set it apart from others in my city. We aren’t the most vocal but we definitely have stamped our name. I specialize in the artistry and creative part of my business. Being able to give fresh ideas that will propel the business even further and help expand for exposure and revenue purposes and eventually being able to sign artists from similar situations and help those around me with their own business ventures.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The year of 2020 we are looking to expand even more and have more products for fans to be able to get closer and more in tune with our brand. That’s merchandise, music, marketing, & branding. Just creating more jobs and opportunities to help us grow as people and as a business. Mainly setting up my own business to pass to my children nieces and nephew.
