Today we’d like to introduce you to Ronisha Levy.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Ronisha. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My company started a conversation with my aunt. I wanted a company that paid homage to the two women that gave me so much passion for floral design. So, I name the company after the street names that my Aunt (Warren) and my Mother (Forrest) lived on. I started crafting at a very young age with my mom on Saturdays. After moving to Atlanta, I started as a floral assistant at Bold American Events. After leaving there, I freelanced for smaller businesses. Then, last July, I started my business Warren+Forrest.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It definitely has not been as easy as it looks. Being the first generation entrepreneur in my family. There are a lot of things I have to learn via trial and error. I have made millions of mistakes but I have learned from them. The experience has been amazing and I love this journey it makes me appreciate the business even more.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Warren+Forrest – what should we know?
Warren+Forrest is floral design company. Our motto is Loving Everything Living. We specialize in floral pop up shops, interior landscapes and weddings. Warren+Forrest looks to make personal relationships with each and every person we come in contact with. Never leaving feeling like a stranger. Warren+Forrest believes in customer service with Christian belief. I want to incorporate God into everything that Warren+Forrest is apart of. Allowing God to lead and I follow.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My tribe. Each of them knows who they are. Each of them has listened and listened. Each person plays a different role but each of them has been influential in my success.
Derrick: My backbone the person that cheers me on first and foremost that prays for me and with me daily.
Malacia: The person I scream at when everything is going haywire. She allows me to fuss and complains.
Shekeidra: My coach she pushes me to be the best me. Without questioning my judgment.
Sharita: My Fairy Godmother. Who believes and listen to my dreams. Boy, I truly love this girl.
Morgan: My praying sister. She prays with me and prays for me.
Shelly: My personal life fixer-upper. She keeps me in line and I really mean this.
Last but not least.
Michelle: She listens but she executes. She makes sure I see the vision through.
Thank you so much for just believing in me.
