Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Dhanani.
Sarah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Most people don’t know this but I started blogging back in high school. I started EraForSarah to have an outlet to talk about my favorite thing, fashion! Although, I loved blogging, life got in the way and there was never enough time to work, go to school and blog. While I put blogging on the back burner, so many things changed. Fast forward 4 years, I’m now a college graduate, newly married, puppy mama and back doing the thing I love… blogging!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I think if anything is too easy, that means you’re not doing it right. Blogging has not been a piece of cake.
What people don’t realize is that if it’s raining outside or the lighting isn’t perfect… you can’t do your job. My husband is my photographer and obviously that’s not his only job, so I’m constantly working around his schedule to get content. Sometimes, that means getting dressed at 7AM to take pictures or spending our whole weekend shooting content.
Although blogging isn’t easy, it’s honestly so fun and rewarding to think that you can use your passion to help benefit others!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with EraForSarah – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
EraForSarah started off as just a fashion and beauty blog but as time has progressed and my life has changed its turn into a lifestyle blog — which consists of everything from fashion, to beauty, to relationship advise and even recipes. I hope that my blog continues to evolve and clearly represents where I am in my life.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future are to continuously grow EraForSarah. I look forward to seeing what EraForSarah turns into in the future. The goal is to always keep improving, so I plan on taking feedback from my readers and making some changes — that could be in content or even site design.
