Meet Tambria Peeples of Willis Mitchell & Associates Realty in Fayetteville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tambria Peeples.

Tambria, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am currently a licensed real estate agent in Georgia. My father started this business almost 30 years ago and after exploring other career paths, I finally decided to join the family business. I didn’t realize early on that my life as a journalist and marketer was only preparing me to jump in on what my father had started.

I began my career in journalism working as reporter, photographer and producer in radio, print and TV news media. After working markets in parts of Tennessee and several outlets in Atlanta, I continued my passion for writing and creativity into public relations and marketing after earning an MBA. As a result of those experiences, I currently develop strategic marketing methods for clients who want to sell or buy a new home or business. I enjoy providing educational tools that aid in my client’s success and seeing the results as their dreams of homeownership materializes.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road… In the midst of running a business, life is still happening. The biggest obstacles for me, in the beginning, were securing financing and clientele while managing a family. It took proper time management and patience which is what I still use today as I am always learning new lessons through my experiences.

Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
Willis Mitchell and Associates Realty was started nearly 30 years ago by Willis Mitchell Jr., who is currently the broker. In the early years, the specialty was first time home buyers. However, over the years, we have focused on guiding all clients in any phase of the home buying process. Each buyer and seller has a unique situation and no purchase is smooth. Therefore, our specialty is results.

What sets us apart from the others is family. As a small brokerage, we nurture all clients like family and that type of caring extends even after the purchase is made.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Perseverance is very important to my success. Through the years, there have been many roadblocks and delays that could have stopped me, but my Faith and willingness to keep going has sustained me.
