Meet Terquita Chantee of Kissxd By Me in Metro Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Terquita Chantee.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always enjoyed the process and outcome of creating; from writing music and poetry, fashion design and anything that allows me the freedom to create. I also enjoy motivating and promoting what others are accomplishing. With all of that being said I wanted to create a central platform to place it all so, I decided to start a blog.

What is now my own domain did not start off that way. I used a free site and told only a few people. I wanted to really know how others would respond, especially since I had never done anything like it before. After some trial and error, I decided that it would not just be an idea but an accomplished goal. I started investing in my vision!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth?! Lol No! However, I have enjoyed the ridges; it truly makes life that much more interesting. I currently work in a corporate environment full time which makes my time valuable and limited. Trying balance it all can be very challenging at times. Organization and time management play a very big role in my day to day. I have planned and  created meeting agendas for people who were no shows and their time was booked in advance. With time being so valuable things like that can become a great challenge. Other challenges include who to write about, how often and understanding the business of blogging, managing others and how to consistently be effective.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Kissxd By Me – what should we know?
My blog is Kissxd By Me. My goal is to create, connect and inspire others to be their greatest self. On my blog, I have sections for music, entrepreneurs, trending topics, live interviews, Kissxd Eats, inspiration, and a special diary confession section.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
A genuine passion and concern for others! I connect to people with a genuine interest to motivate and inspire growth and change. It is truly a lifestyle. I like to service others in that way.
