Meet Trailblazer Ne’Taki Wolfe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ne’Taki Wolfe.

Ne’Taki, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I worked as a Director of a child care center, which allowed me to bring my children to work with me. That was great while it lasted but as they got older and their needs were changing, my husband and I decided we needed to adjust to the needs of the family. That adjustment led me to become a stay-home mom. I did that for 13 years and it was the best gift I could have ever given my family. They have had every ounce of my love, time, energy, efforts, talents and attention. As I watched them grow into awesome, well rounded, thriving young adults, I know it was the right decision. Once again, as they were getting older, their needs changed and they were needing me less and less. I began to wonder what there is out there in the world for me. I considered so many paths I could take but ultimately chose real estate because it is flexible and allows me to still be available for them as needed. I could be my own boss, meet people of all different backgrounds, learn a new skill and the best part is there’s no ceiling in real estate.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not always been smooth. Starting this business was definitely an adjustment for the family. Everyone had to step up to do more because I wasn’t there to take care of everything like they were accustomed to. Having a supportive family definitely makes the transition easier and communication is key. Real estate is serious business and there is so much to learn. It pushed me outside of my comfort zone forcing me to think differently. Being comfortable is a dangerous place to be. It will leave you stagnant but stepping outside of that will propel you forward. I would tell any woman wanting to start her own business to step out on faith. Believe in yourself and what you have to offer. Most importantly, don’t be afraid to fail because I believe in failing forward. Learn from your mistakes and become better as a result of them.

I am a real estate agent with Keller Williams Atlanta Partners. I help people realize their dream of becoming a homeowner. I pride myself on going above and beyond for my clients and making sure they are receiving the best service possible. I am known for making them feel as if they are the only clients I have and always have a positive and upbeat attitude. My goal is to add value to their lives. I feel like this is key to building a successful business and lasting relationships with my clients. I service all of Metro Atlanta.
