Meet Zhenya Royter of By Bow Event Design and Floral in West Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Zhenya Royter.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I have always loved everything about perfectly styled events, weddings or any type of life’s little celebrations. Growing up, I was pretty much influenced by my mother’s talents of organizing holiday dinner parties in our home and I loved her attention to the details in every table scape she created for us and her guests. Carrying over my family traditions to celebrate occasions into my own home was very important to me. I wanted my kids to experience the same excitement and joy over the holidays where the table scape was nicely styled and a special menu was created. Flowers were always a big part of the decor. My table was always full of floral designs from a neighborhood floral shop or from the local market. My friends and family have always encouraged me to turn my passion into a business. It all started with a friend of mine that asked me to do her wedding flowers. She was my first paying client and it was my first big wedding.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Its has not been an easy road, is it ever? To create beautiful floral arrangements, I could do this with my eyes closed but to have a client buy it and make a profit from it was one of the obstacles. To create a sustainable business was one of my biggest challenges. It took years to find the right client that is in love with my work and gain that customer’s trust. There were years of learning how to develop that path of trust and recognition in Atlanta’s competitive market. Our work shows what we can create with our clients vision and deliver it in the most beautiful and unique way.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with By Bow Event Design and Floral – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
By Bow is a floral and event design studio, we provide many different services such as: implemented design for weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and corporate events. We provide floral design, wedding planning, day of coordination, styling and creative direction for styled shoots and editorials.

We are known for our fine art wedding design. This is where we think that design, decor and aesthetics are paramount. Our fine art wedding designs starts with our artistic vision with careful attention to details that reflect our clients as a couple through careful collaboration through, vases, linens, calligraphy, china and a certain approach with backdrops, textures and florals. If we specialize in anything its giving couples their dream wedding. We reflect their story in every detail. We have a process where we work very closely with the bride and groom. We use our design questionnaire and mood board studies to uncover their personal aesthetics and produce a unique and custom design plan. What sets apart is our process ensures their design related details will be personal, cohesive, inspired and that their wedding day or event will be a beautiful reflection of them.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We dream big and we are always planning to add services and projects to our design studio. We are extending our boarders and we are excited to offer destination weddings services, starting next year. We are looking forward to create beautiful love stories on a remote beach, in the fields of Provence or perhaps, to follow our bride and groom to Europe and create an intimate elopement ceremony in an English garden.
