Meet Darryl Chambers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Darryl Chambers.

Darryl, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I remember being in high school playing sports and in doing so, modeling, entertainment, and entrepreneurship was the furthest thing from my mind. One of my mother’s coworkers happen to see my senior prom photo and stated that I was very Photogenic and that I should try modeling. After hearing that statement, I gave it a shot; did a photo shoot, and participated in a fashion show. After doing these two things, I began to circulate and from there the endless opportunities began to come. After modeling for a while and doing some very credible things, I wanted to try to do more, and that’s when I began to give acting a shot. Although acting and modeling can be very fulfilling careers when executed correctly it still has its high points and low points just as everything else often times which will force you to branch outside of doing just that into other ventures. One of the ventures that I chose was fitness training. I had to ask myself how could I capitalize on something that I really enjoy doing that could be beneficial to me as well as others, and one of those answers was exercise. Alongside these things, I am also in the process of a few other business ventures; one being a bar and grill. Going full throttle with all of these things each and every day is how I’ve been blessed to get to the point that I’m at today.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has not been the smoothest, because of obstacles such as trying to keep consistent work, having to deal with spur of the moment scheduling, and being sure that I’m working with people who have the same vision as I do.

Please tell us about your work as a Model/Actor/Entrepreneur.
The business that I’m in is to definitely help others who are trying to follow the same path as well; because that’s why I do it besides entertainment, it’s more about what can be branched off from it.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is winning a basketball game against a very good rival team. It was such a feeling of accomplishment and victory.
