Suddenly Slimmer was founded in Atlanta in 2006 by Julie and Michael Tracey after both left the Corporate world and achieved significant results from the body wraps. Julie went from a size 12 to size 8, and Michael dropped a pant size in a few short months with a series of body wraps. Besides becoming suddenly slimmer and detoxified after the wraps, our clients experience skin rejuvenation and toning, cellulite and stretch mark reduction and renewed energy for those suffering from mineral deficiencies. Arthritis, fibromyalgia, and thyroid sufferers have also noted improvement in their muscles and joints as a result of our wraps.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Our business was very strong from 2006-2009. It has been tougher since the recession with the business being seen as more of a luxury rather than a necessity, and also more of a spring/summer rather than a full year need. We have made changes in locations, marketing, staffing, service offerings, and pricing of services to reflect the economy over the years. We were happy to celebrate 10 years in Atlanta this past summer and look forward to continuing to service the market with our body wraps to help clients look and feel their best.
Suddenly Slimmer – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Suddenly Slimmer is Atlanta’s largest provider of all natural, non-dehydrating, food grade mineral body wraps that address those stubborn areas that diet and exercise can’t fix. Mos t body wraps do not actually work and some can even be harmful. There should be no dehydration or sweating involved. What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
