Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryant Williams.
Bryant, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started cooking at the age of 17, I started off as a dishwasher at an upscale restaurant downtown Atlanta. I worked there for four years learning different cooking techniques. I branched off under another private celebrity chef name Chef Aleem he showed me the personal chef life & I haven’t looked back ever since. I’ve been cooking running my own private chef for five years now. I’ve traveled on tour with Migos to 15+ countries like South Africa, Australia (Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, & even to Paris, New Zealand, London, Germany, Poland, Amsterdam, and a few more. I’ve cooked for Kendrick Lamar, Julio Jones, Gucci mane, Lil Baby, Wale, Monica, T.I., Lil Yachty, Young Thug, Jacquees.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been a smooth road trying to build a name off cooking good food. I started off selling dishes to different recording studios in Atlanta using Instagram.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
I’m a private/personal chef in Atlanta. I prepare meals at different families/ clients in Atlanta. I also travel international as a personal chef for clients who wants to eat American dishes while out of the country. I specialize in southern soul cooking mixed with Japanese, European, and Caribbean flavors. My hustle, personality, background, & approach sets me aside from others.
What were you like growing up?
I was always trying to sell something growing up. I use to sell kool aid and sugar in elementary school then started selling candy. My mom use to get a lot of food stamps because we had a big family, I use to stay getting cursed out for messing up food trying to cook. I use to always be in the kitchen around my mom and dad watching them cook. My grandmom use to let me watch her cook also growing up.
