Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Mull.
In June 2018, Danielle Mull founded Marked By Mull to give the everyday woman access to jewelry at affordable prices.
Like clothes, lipstick, hair, and nails, the jewelry we wear is an extension of our individuality and a glimpse into our personalities. Here, we believe that every woman is unique and so too is her style. So, instead of adhering to society’s standards of beauty we are creating our own by providing beautiful high-quality jewelry that is as versatile as the women who wear it.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
For the most part, the journey has been smooth. However, there have been obstacles along the way and I am sure there will be many more since Marked By Mull is a new business. Some of the struggles along the way include: learning how to build and maintain a website that helps the business grow, understanding consumer behavior, and maintaining an inventory that is responsive to customer demand. Because my background is not in business, I’ve had to be resourceful and find tools that help me develop the skills necessary to rise to the challenges presented. The one piece of advice for young women who are just starting their entrepreneurial journey or aspire to do so is to find that special something that brings you joy and share that gift with the world.

Marked By Mull specializes in affordable jewelry. While Marked By Mull is a jewelry brand, the mission behind the brand is more than about wearing fashionable jewelry.
Marked By Mull provides a platform that represents women from diverse backgrounds and inspires everyday women to honor our own perceptions of beauty and to challenge the status quo.
Marked By Mull empowers women to Make a Statement by using our voices and presence to influence and inspire change. Through making our voices heard, we acknowledge that our contributions to society are valuable.
Living in our purpose allows us to share our stories and our gifts with the world because every time we show up our presence matters. When we show up in this world feeling confident and as our true, authentic selves we make the world a little bit better than it was before.
So, Marked By Mull is a jewelry brand but also a constant reminder to Make a Statement–to show up in every space as the bold powerful women we are.
Which women have inspired you in your life?
I’m inspired by my mother, my grandmothers, and generally, all of the women who I have been surrounded by. I’m very fortunate to have great women around me who have shown me what it means to be strong and resilient and vulnerable and compassionate simultaneously.
