Meet Ammartis McCrary of Maximum Control Music

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ammartis McCrary.

Ammartis (Amadis) McCrary was born in Atlanta, GA. Where he currently resides and where he is the CEO of Maximum Control Music (MCMG). MCM is an independent record label that he created in 2016 but he got it established in 2017. He was an artist at one time but he seen just how cruel the music industry can be. He has owned another company in the past such as Millionaire X Bidz, which was a management company. Millionaire X Bidz was founded on integrity and just wanting to help give artist fair playing field. After doing research and knowing that it takes money to be in the industry, he humbly bowed out for a moment to gain a better networking strategy and contact marketable artist. He was always a fan of music and he grew up singing in my church choir.

He has an LLC and purchased IRSC code, He has performance license with BMI, Sound Exchange, register with Sound Scan. He owns all the equipment that he uses to record with. He has worked with a lot of artist like SB Quan, Westside Kris, Ryan Milla, CEO Teej, and Richie Rambo. He has done a lot of research and gains the knowledge to forward my company. The knowledge he has acquired will help future artist that he works with or signed to his label. Two Years he recently took a 1000 steps forward and acquired a recording studio which was short-lived and with no music funds to pay the overhead for the building he lost it. He invested so much money into the studio and when he lost it early this year, it left he discourage. Confused with uncertainty and not having an artist, he felt that music may not be his avenue.

Early February he signed Diver$e and his music catalog has currently reached the 100,000+ streams. I have my LLC, Have purchased IRSC code, I have license with BMI, Sound Exchange, register with Sound Scan. I brought all the equipment and got a building constructed to accommodate my recording needs. I also signed an artist that I have now parted ways with due to the fact we wasn’t motivated to grow and grind in the music business. I have done a lot of research and gain the knowledge to forward my company. The knowledge I have acquired will help my future artist as well as my company.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest obstacles is learning how to gain money from the music I have help artist put out and gaining loyal fans for my company.

Maximum Control Music – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We specialize in help managing artist career and developing them as well. I am known for my dog like mentally and how I drive the artist to be better. I am most proud of my reach to 100,000+ streams on Spotify. What sets me apart from the rest is allowing the artist to be them but also helping them to polish up on their craft.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career is getting my artist to be apart of the dungeon at Streetz 94.5
