Meet Taylor Bell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Bell.

Taylor, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
My interest in crystals began with a small purchase of a few stones. The energetic properties always intrigued me, and I started to look more into them. I had always admired wire-wraps and sought out someone to make me a pendant. I had the rest of the crystals laying around and figured I’d try the craft out myself! I should have known I would find myself creating jewelry as I never feel complete without some form of accessory on, especially a necklace. I began Enersoul in 2016 as a hobby. It has now been almost three years, and I have gained over 7,000 supporters across all of my social media. I started out just wire-wrapping crystals and working to improve my skills. Now, I make resin butterfly pendants, floral iPhone cases, and sell individual crystal collection pieces. At first, it took me weeks to make just one sale, and now I sell my pendants very quickly, and I am contacted multiple times a day for custom pieces. I am so grateful that I get to do what I love and that it is appreciated worldwide. It makes me so happy to have my art all across the U.S. and many international countries as well.

We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do, why, and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
I create unique, wire-wrapped crystal pendants. I utilize different wire-weaving techniques to really accentuate the stone. I spend hours searching for the best quality and most beautiful stones. It’s actually really fun for me. I also work with resin! Resin is a sticky material that dries fully hard, and you can create almost anything with it. In addition to pendants, I recently began making iPhone cases with flowers and butterfly wings. I was inspired by every other artist and freelancer making a business out of what they already loved to do. I put lots of love and energy into every piece, even down to the packaging it comes in. I am truly passionate about what I do and want to provide a uniquely branded experience for all of my customers.

The message behind my art is to apply yourself to the best of your ability, keep going, and express yourself. I never even intended to run a whole business from this, but since I kept persevering even when I wasn’t making sales, I turned it into something bigger than myself. I hope people take away that you truly can do whatever you set your mind to and whatever is meant to be for you will be. I had always thought the idea of being an entrepreneur was one of the best things you could be but never knew how I would get there. With the simple acknowledgment of an interest, I was able to turn it into one of my biggest passions.

How can artists connect with other artists?
My best advice for connecting with other artists is to show your support as a fellow artist yourself. I didn’t really have any artist friends until I became an artist myself. Now, I have grown many online friendships with people who create within all sorts of artistic realms. I suggest seeking them out on social media and showing support as best you can even if it’s consistently favoriting their posts! Artists are everywhere; you just have to find ones you connect with and find people whose work you admire!

Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
People can view my work mainly on my Instagram which is @ enersoul. I am always posting new crafts and updating my supporters on future shop items. I also have an official website ~ shopenersoul.com. I try to post weekly updates on there, but I mainly focus on wire-wrapping pieces for custom orders. When I am channeling my creativity, I create new pendants randomly and post them for sale on my Instagram! Any form of support is appreciated whether that’s a follow, like, share, or purchase. Orders can be placed through direct messages, email, or my website when I have available pieces.
