Meet Adrian Belton of KBS Performance Training in South Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Belton.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Adrian. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
As a former high school and college athlete, it has been a desire of mine to provide, share and mentor the next generation of student-athletes. I am a father and husband, and it’s important to me to continue giving back and providing student-athletes with as much love, encouragement, direction, and positive instructions when it comes sports and life. Because my journey has been one of great experiences but also one of many challenges, KBS was started to support, direct, encourage and motivate each student-athlete I am blessed to coach and train.

Has it been a smooth road?
In life, anything worth having takes hard work and we will definitely face some challenges. As a new program, I am learning that what’s here today may not be tomorrow. So being able to diligently work with all my heart with who and what I have is my daily goal. I will meet each challenge head on and be thankful for each experience that will teach me how to be better for my student-athletes and the individuals in KBS program. I am dedicated to the growth of KBS and the future of the individuals in the program.

KBS Performance Training was developed to train student-athletes on and off the field. We believe that athletes are students first; therefore, we have to support their education before we can train them. Not only do we support their education, train them for whatever desired sport they are participating in, we are dedicated to them becoming effective, loving, ambitious and amazing young men. We partner with Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity to assist the young men with etiquette, how to dress appropriately for different events, as well as how to love themselves and care for others. KBS understands that there is life after sports and we want them to be ready and prepared for both sports and life.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like our city and most cities are good places to start programs such as KBS Performance Training because we all have one thing common and that’s athletes. Athletes are born and raised throughout this country so I definitely recommend anyone who wants to start a company similar to KBS to go for it. We have enough young men who need love, encouragement, and motivation to be all they can be in life and be amazing at it.
