Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Coleman.
Ryan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started doing photography and videography as a hobby, I had no intentions of becoming a professional photographer or videographer. As I posted my personal pictures and videos on social media people began to ask for my rates. I had no idea of what to charge because it was not my intentions to do business with my hobby. I always tell people that the business of photography and videography is something that sought me out and not something that I did with money being the motivation.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My road has been relatively smooth. I have been blessed to have people who are genuine fans of my work, in this era of social media it is easy to turn natural talents into some sort of business. Things happened very fast for me. I say the hardest struggle is continuing to find unique and creative ways to deliver great pictures.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with LIFTO VISUALS – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
LIFTO is an acronym for Leveraging Information For Tomorrow Ourselves. It initially started as a non-profit organization and eventually morphed into a photography and videography business. I am known most for my wedding photography and my ability to capture raw emotion.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to continuing to expand and eventually become an international brand. Atlanta and its influence on culture is the PERFECT city to do that in.
