Meet Morgan Paige Carter of La Gringa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Morgan Paige Carter.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
At the end of 2018, I decided to quit everything I knew, including my job and college to move to Colombia (yes, the Country lol) and chase my dreams. This dream was to basically be an international Superstar. Someone who positively influenced the world in a positive way and showed people that it was possible to learn a completely foreign language and culture. I have always loved the Spanish culture, people, and Spanish music. In the states, I was bored, lost, and I couldn’t help but feel like I was missing something in my life. My escape from my reality was learning Spanish and creating videos and content for Instagram. In my videos, I am known as “La Gringa.” I speak Spanish and English in my videos. After months of making videos and getting positive feedback and more and more followers on Instagram, I decided to make a Youtube. After just three months, I have reached over 20,000 subscribers. I am absolutely full of love and gratitude for those who have supported me along my journey. My goal for this year is to continue to grow on Instagram and Youtube and to continue influencing people to follow their hearts and ALWAYS chase their dreams.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My adventure started with my best friend and I going on a vacation to Colombia. We planned to go to Cartagena and Medellin. We fell in love with Cartagena and then we went to Medellin. We loved it. The mountains, the energy, and people ready to collaborate and film just like us. This is when we both realized we had to be there longer. Her brother was a very famous singer in Colombia and we would see him often to create content or hangout. He basically told us both to come back and make our dreams come true. And that is exactly what we did. Unfortunately. On February 7th, my best friends brother, one of my biggest inspirations, passed away from a stray bullet in a robbery. After this happened, I didn’t know how everyone was going to carry on. How could we all? We left Colombia. Instead of everyone crumbling, everyone let his light shine through themselves and continued to work hard and go for their dreams. This is what he wants and I know he is smiling down from heaven on all of us. I am continuing to keep learning Spanish, and creating content, along with my best friend, who is also one of my biggest inspirations.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with La Gringa – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I specialize in comedy and entertainment. I am a content creator, actress, singer, and model. What I am trying to do is show people that you can make your dreams come true and make ANYTHING and EVERYTHING happen for yourself. You just have to make the first move and put your mind to it. If I wouldn’t have dropped everything and moved, I would not be where I am today. Sometimes you have to make drastic changes, decisions, and moves in order to find yourself. Today, like every person trying to make a come up, I have good days and bad days. Days where I am completely driven to wake up and film and make things happen, and other days where I don’t feel like smiling on camera because I feel down or depressed. But it is all a process. I am human and nothing in life ever comes easy. You just have to get up and keep going. Always trust the redirection, even if you have no idea where it’s taking you. I know one thing, I am on the road to making everything I want happen for myself. How can I be so sure? Because I am never going to quit. I am never going to give up. I am going to continue to grow, follow my dreams, learn Spanish, and show people that they can do anything they set their mind too. No matter how crazy or far away it might seem.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I plan on going to LA in the summer to work with other influencers out there. I also plan to return to Colombia to work with other influencers and content creators to continue to record and Make videos. I plan on continuing to drop content in Spanish and English. I want to really influence the English audience more, so I plan to start adding subtitles to my Spanish videos. I want to start my own brand of clothing as well hopefully within the next year. I am also going to be doing a lot more music. I love singing and I actually owe a lot of my Spanish knowledge to music lyrics. I plan on doing more covers and making music this year. Acting is also something that I want to focus on. I would love to do be on film for reality TV, movies and shows. I want to entertain and continue to make people laugh and go for their dreams.
