Today we’d like to introduce you to Keanna Jones.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). I am a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and have been living in Atlanta since I was eight. My mother relocated my sister, and I here for better opportunities such as education and a stable living environment. Being raised by a single parent was difficult to deal with, but I do not regret any moment of it. Watching my mom work two to three jobs made me realize she wanted nothing but the best for her children. This motivated me and increased my drive to become successful in life. I’ve encountered a few obstacles in my life that made me want to give up but of course, I was taught to never give up no matter what. So by staying positive and keeping the faith through tough times, I was able to make decisions that would positively impact my future. In the Summer of 2013, I was accepted into Georgia Highlands College as a nursing major. My time as a full-time student at GHC was definitely a struggle while balancing both a full-time and a part-time job and serving as president of the Woman To Woman Organization. I found myself not taking care of myself but because I was so eager to succeed, I was willing to grind until I was successful. However, overworking myself played a role in my overall health and grades.
On January 29th of 2017, I decided I wanted to continue to make a positive impact in the community by being a blessing to the less fortunate. I became an entrepreneur and created the R.E.A.C.H Foundation- Rebuild & Extend A Caring Hand. In addition to the start of my organization, I landed an amazing opportunity as a production assistant with 730 Vision Production Company. I was grateful for that opportunity because I discovered my love, passion, and purpose in life- working behind the scenes. I am proud to now be the current production manager of the company. By the end of 2017, I closed my chapter at Georgia Highlands College and obtained my Associate’s Degree of Science in Human Services. Within the next year, I received my acceptance letter into Kennesaw State University to pursue a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Public Relations with a concentration in Film Studies. While still working with the video production company, I was then asked to recreate the model and talent agency which is now called the Eclipse Agency, the sister company to 730 Vision Production Company.
There’s two defining moments in my life that helped me to figure out my purpose. The first moment came when I had to sit out a semester due to Financial aid and other setbacks. During this time I felt like everything was collapsing school is all I know not only that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue my interest in Human Services. I didn’t know what my purpose was until I met Malik Marcell who helped me figure somethings out, by giving me an opportunity to work for 730 Vision production company.
The second moment came April 18th, 2018. I was hospitalized, it was in that moment I decided to become more in tune with God and myself. I asked God for strength, forgiveness, and courage. I took the time to accept my actions, face my fears and tend to self-care. Praying, staying positive and self-motivation was the best reward that I could give myself. Taking a break from both social media and people helped out a lot. A month later, I walked across the stage with my head held high with faith, pride, dignity, and confidence. During this transition of life and as I continued to mature, I realized that building a relationship with God was all I needed in life. I was walking in my purpose and believing in myself again. I will continue to brand and build my personal businesses. Be on the lookout for my upcoming projects – KJPR Agency and Impulse 42! I believe that if you don’t like something, change it and that’s exactly what I’m doing by the grace of God!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has highs and lows but some of my struggles included financial stability, and balancing school, work, and my businesses.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
Eclipse Model & Talent Agency
It is my distinct honor and absolute pleasure to introduce myself, Keanna Jones, the current video production manager under the fastest growing production company in the South called 730 Vision. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for your interest in learning more about the model and talent development agency entitled “Eclipse Agency.” By working alongside 730 Vision, we strive to establish a successful agency with efforts to enhance our models’ confidence, self-worth, professionalism, and exposure. Modeling is a type of art. It speaks volumes and is a way for individuals like you, to express character by creating reality from your perspective. Our company collaborates with high-quality clients and photographers. In addition, we offer free photo shoots to our models and are open to any ideas that are brought to our attention.
What are you most proud of as a company?
So far, I am most proud of organizing my first annual “Model Talk” event hosted by Naomi Glay, the current Miss Liberia USA. This was a free class for aspiring models who was interested in learning more about the industry.
I organized another event entitled “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” We collaborated with ATL Models to host a slumber party designed to create an amazing night of model bonding. During this event, we created a promotion video for Ououi Carribean liquor company. This was by far the most highlighted night to see a room full of beautiful women working and having fun together.
What set our company aside?
We aim to encourage our models to reach their highest potential in their career and anything else they desire to do. We also offer our ladies top of the line service during every set. Our overall goal is to create a positive movement within the modeling and entertainment industry.
R.e.a.c.h Foundation
R.E.A.C.H is a non-profit foundation designed to support less fortunate individuals by focusing on rebuilding and extending a caring hand to those in need. There are four committees within the foundation, comprised of the following: Extending a Caring Hand, Rebuilding my Future, Journey to Success, and Women of the Future. Our number one priority and goal is to serve and give back to local communities around the world.
Extending a Caring Hand – This particular group serves the homeless regardless if they are in a shelter or on the street. Rebuilding My Future – Focuses on victims of sexually or domestic abuse. Journey to Success – focuses primarily on young teenagers and adults of single parents (mother/father/guardian) families. Women of the Future – Empowers women from different ethnic backgrounds to reach their personal and professional goals.
I’m most proud about , during the process of starting my organization I put together my first feed the hungry drive for Thanksgiving on November 18th, 2017. I was able to feed over 170 homeless people a hot home cooked dinner. We served dressing, ham, turkey green beans, chocolate cake and much more. We were also able to provide over 200 Publix’s canned goods and feminine products to Atlanta Mission Women’s Shelter.
R.e.a.c.h then kicked off our 1st prom giveaway and we were able to send two beautiful young ladies from my hometown, Tuscaloosa, AL, to their senior prom. The giveaway came with hair, makeup, nails and anything else they needed assistance with. Thanks to the Parents of Aniyah Jones & Kaitlin Thomas our prom winners.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up I was always determined to accomplish whatever I put my mind to. I love being involved in the community and helping out around the house. I’m just a small town girl with big dreams refusing to let my background determine my future. Being around family and friends brings out the joy and love within. I enjoy being a creative, working behind the scenes, helping others bring their vision to life. I became independent at a young age- I began working when I was 15 and have not stopped yet. It took a lot of hardwork and dedication to get where I am today and I’m still moving forward until I can finally say goodbye to a 9 to 5 job.
