It all began with a push—a small nudge to finally put my content out and help other wavers. A colleague of mine suggested that I started a YouTube channel based on the strength of my wave knowledge.
After giving it some consideration, I finally brought it to fruition. My success today stems from video editing skills and my consistency with uploading videos. I still get that nudge from my colleague every now and then to do better.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Yeah, it’s been pretty smooth so far. Everything is self-made for the most part. Besides the copyright claims on some of my videos, it’s been smooth sailing.
Poseidon On Earth – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m knowledgeable about numerous self-care techniques in regards to hair, teeth, skin, and exercising. “Poseidon On Earth” is my YouTube channel that provides insight on male-hygiene, with a focus on waves. “Poseidon” is a name I’ve given myself for numerous reasons, one of which is due to my dedication towards my hairstyle, waves.
The “On Earth” part is my future reference for the impact I would like to have on this world. Yeah, I’m starting off with YouTube, but I’ll utilize it to open numerous doors for my future, like activism, community service, and philanthropy.
My content is informative, yet entertaining. I insert funny, relatable memes, video clips, and animations to ensure that you’re not sitting through a boring lecture.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is achieving the goals you have set for yourself. You have overcome the obstacles that were preventing you from accomplishing your goal.
Many people define success as another person’s status in life, but in reality, it’s their personal take and status in their own life. The ‘u’ in success is “you.” “Have I reached my goal?” Whether short term or long term, you succeeded!
