Today we’d like to introduce you to Bea Ward.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Bea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
When I was 15 years old I wanted to be a photographer. I told my parents and my mom bought a camera. She never used it so I took it upon myself to use it to my advantage.
Around 17, I was in an academic program that provided a photography course, that’s where I was taught how to shoot manually. I practiced shooting anything throughout the years.Years later I took a photography course at my university.
I honestly can say with perseverance, faith, patience, and devotion within my craft is what keeps me going. The good, bad and the ugly.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It was not one of the smoothest roads. Since bK(lowercase done on purpose) is new small business I dont have a large clientele.
I’ve struggled with knowing the value of my craft because of lack of clientele and most people be broke. I also have to live with a health condition, where at times I’m not able to move normally. I was raised in a critical environment, which can be a bit overwhelming. Then, I have a job and other priorities. It is a lot of pressure but, still I rise!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bea Kaptured – what should we know?
There’s not much to say about my company, but Bea Kaptured specializes in film production and photography. Specifically, photography.
As a company, I’m proud of being able to inspire children and make others feel more confident in front of the camera and even after a session. At the end of the day, I want my clients to feel like a better version of themselves.
I believe what sets me apart from others is that I appreciate the beauty that surrounds me. Everything is art,and art is beauty.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I would like to make a shout out to everyone who believed in me and the ones that saw the best in me, ,before I could.
