Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Keith.
Bryan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
“I’ve always been fascinated with photography for as long as I remember!” While this sounds great, it’s not true for me. My story is different from most photographers because until recently, music production was my only outlet for artistic expression. When other photographers were scouting new locations, I was in the studio searching for the perfect snare sample. Photography just wasn’t my thing. At least, not yet!
I owe my start in photography to my brother Brandon. Before I knew what it was, he had me snapping pictures of him for “The Gram”. And by snapping pictures I mean using the camera on his iPhone 4s. Looking back, I never really wanted to take pictures, so I would purposely do the least I could do so he would stop asking, lol. As time went on, I would catch myself saying, “Take your hat off, it’s casting shadows”, “This background has too many distractions”, or “The best lighting is over there.” Little did I know, my passion for photography was growing.
After talking with my friends Adrian and Rodney, who are photographers, I decided it was time for me to invest in a camera. It’s been #teamNikon ever since!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, the road has been smooth but there was a huge learning curve when learning my first DSLR and photo editing software. Looking at my camera dial, P, M, S, A? What’s this? Not knowing didn’t stop me. In fact, it gave me the opportunity to grow.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Bryan Keith Photography – what should we know?
I specialize in portrait and lifestyle photography. More specifically, the look of environmental portrait photography with the feel of an editorial image. Other types of photography include aerial (drone), landscape/cityscape, and street photography.
With there being so many photographers here in Atlanta, I believe my personality helps me stand out. I’m a ‘people-person’ so my sessions are filled with good energy and laughter. Clients are comfortable and that translates to an overall better photoshoot. Being customer-focus oriented also sets me apart. I understand it’s a strong contribution to my company’s success and that’s what I am most proud of. Customer satisfaction over everything! Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that my photos are pretty cool.
