Today we’d like to introduce you to Antonia White.
Antonia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my brand “Immaculate” with a hope and a dream. When I was a senior in high school, I had already worked for two big company’s chick fil a and six flags I begin to become uncomfortable. Uncomfortable with my circumstances I wanted more and knew I was better than the situation I was in. I began to search for lash classes and people to certify me being that lashes were the only thing I loved at the time. Once I became certified in November 2017, the business began to boom near January and I was already looking to expand. I decided to branch off into cosmetics and selling lashes and lash supplies in March. I also began to teach lash classes & word was spreading rapidly about the youngest hottest lash tech in Atlanta. In May, I went on my first lash tour to Virginia where I certified 10 people total & earned my first 10,000 dollars. I was only 17. PayPal believed I made too much money for my age so while I was doing great with lashes my online business immaculate cosmetics shut down. On my 18th birthday, I decided to launch and rebrand myself as “immaculate the brand” a girl’s favorite one-stop shop. Where I specialize in lash extensions, sell quality hair extensions, lashes, lash supplies and the hottest apparel!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, nothing great comes smooth and easy. I went through several things that made me want to quit: 1. When my website was shut down due to my age. 2. The first hair sale, I had five fraud orders and I used a payment processor called stripe where they didn’t care to hear an explanation they just took all your money. I lost tremendously! 3. I lost a lot of people really all my friends close to me due to jealousy and elevation. I say elevation because it’s no hard feelings, everybody just can’t go where you’re going.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Immaculate The Brand story. Tell us more about the business.
I’m immaculate the brand. A girls favorite one stop shop! I am a master lash artist. I specialize in lash extensions! I train young girls on how to be an entrepreneur. I sell clothes, hair & lashes/lash supplies. & I also offer wholesale lashes, hair & apparel to small business owners.
